Route and meeting point

Meet your guide at El Ateneo Grand Splendid, Avenida Santa Fe 1860, Buenos Aires, at 10am. Your booking confirmation provides the final meeting instructions. The tour finishes near Caminito in La Boca at approximately 6pm. This La Boca option does not run on Sundays.

  1. Barrio Norte and coffee: Meet your guide and group over coffee, with time for your first questions about the city.
  2. Recoleta Cemetery: Walk through Recoleta and visit its cemetery, including Evita’s story.
  3. Teatro Colón and Microcentro: See Teatro Colón from outside, then stop at Avenida 9 de Julio and the Obelisk.
  4. Lunch: Stop for the included lunch, with a main course and one beverage, before continuing to Plaza de Mayo.
  5. Plaza de Mayo: Visit the historic plaza and see the Casa Rosada from outside.
  6. Monserrat and San Telmo: Continue through Monserrat to San Telmo, including Plaza Dorrego and the indoor market.
  7. La Boca and Caminito: Finish in La Boca and Caminito, with the neighborhood’s immigrant history alongside its painted streets.

Choose this version if La Boca and Caminito are on your must-see list. If you would rather finish in San Telmo, the 7 hour Full Day Essentials tour covers the same route up to that point and ends about an hour earlier.
