La Boca, then San Telmo and the historic center
La Boca
Begin around Caminito, where the painted conventillos point to La Boca’s immigrant and port history. This is a street-level visit. Stadium and museum admission are outside the plan.
San Telmo
Continue through older streets toward Plaza Dorrego and the covered market when it is open. We can stop for coffee and sit down for lunch, with purchases paid directly to the venue.
Plaza de Mayo
The Casa Rosada, Cabildo and Cathedral frame the city’s political history from outside. Your guide can connect the stories to what you have already seen farther south.
A flexible final stretch
Use the remaining time for a coherent part of Microcentro, or follow Avenida de Mayo toward Congreso. The exact finish depends on your interests, pickup and the day’s pace.

Pickup within Buenos Aires city with accompanied travel to the walking start, and public transport used on the tour, are included. Coffee, lunch, other drinks and attraction admission are extra. The tour does not include a private car, stadium interior or tango performance.

This full day adds the historic center and leaves room for coffee, lunch and a longer conversation. The 3 hour walk concentrates on La Boca and San Telmo.
Does city pickup mean a private car?
Your guide meets you at an agreed point within Buenos Aires city and accompanies you to the walking start. Public transport used during the tour is included. A private car is not included.
Will we visit every place in Microcentro and Congreso?
No. We will choose a sensible final stretch for your interests and the time available, rather than rush through both areas.
