Daniel Karlin and his team will talk you through some of Argentina's best wines

Discover the best of Argentina’s Wines with a wine tasting in Buenos Aires…

Anuva Wines: The Company

Argentina’s wine regions attract wine lovers from the world over, who fall in love with the bountiful and unique wines produced here.  One such man is Daniel Karlin, owner and operator of Anuva Wines, a wine club that offers wine tastings for visitors to Buenos Aires.  Anuva – a Spanglish wordplay on the word uva (grape), is also a name in India and Russia, translated as ‘knowledge’ and ‘new beginning’ – a perfectly fitting name and mantra for this new(ish) business which boasts extensive expertise of Argentine wines.

Interesting food pairings come with every Argentine wine

The Wine Tasting Experience

Located in a specialist tasting room in Palermo Soho, intimate groups enjoy this wine tasting in an elegant, brightly decorated dining room.  Daniel, or one of his expert team, stands at the head of the table, presenting his wines, and sharing his wealth of wine wisdom.  The hand-selected, sometimes limited-edition vintage wines will expand your repertoire far beyond the ever-popular Argentine Malbec.  The tasting includes six wines – two white, four red – and perfectly paired local food specialties, ranging from the expected cheese and chocolate, to mouthwatering sorbets, and an empanada (Argentine small, savory pie, usually meat-filled).  Wines are served simultaneously, so guests can compare flavors.  All of the wines are available for purchase, as well as subscriptions to the Anuva Wine Club (although no pressure is put on your to join the club).
