Buenos Aires Expats – which are you?

Expat Life in Buenos Aires

A fun Buenos Aires blog called Exnat [1] is well worth a read if you think you might be interested in “the existential crises of an expat in Buenos Aires at the beginning of the 21st Century”.

If you are more specifically interested inΒ stereotypes [2], it seems Nathan is too – he, and his team of expert, expat researchers (i.e. anyone that comments on his blog), are putting together a list of the different types of expats [3], using generous helpings of stereotypical generalization as their main source of power.

So why not go over and contribute to this list of expat archetypes, and while you’re at it, stay around to read some more interesting [4] expat [5] commentary [6].

I find it very difficult to play pictionary here because, aside from my poor language skills, I haven’t learnt how to draw in Spanish yet.

So probably best that I missed it…

I think I did pretty well getting that one right eventually… considering that you drew the picture in French.

Or was it Portuguese? Oh, I always get those two mixed up πŸ˜‰
