Buenos Aires Argentina Guide

If you are visiting Buenos Aires and will only take one tour, then my Buenos Aires 101 Walking Tour is for you!

No More Buenos Aires Blog Roundups

Say goodbye to the Buenos Aires blog roundups as they drive off into the distance!

The end of an era?

I’ve decided to knock the Buenos Aires blog roundups on the head, for now (though they may return at some point in the future). It was fun at the start, but recently it took up too much precious posting time, to the point where I found that some weeks the only posts I was making were the roundups. :(
I want this blog to be a great resource for people visiting Buenos Aires, so I’m going to concentrate harder on producing really great content here, with more in-depth posts along the lines of the self-guided Buenos Aires Walking Tour that I recently posted up.

So, look out for more useful posts like that one in the near future. I’ll probably start by putting together some more of these suggested Buenos Aires Tours for other areas of the city. Also keep an eye out for some other interesting changes that will be happening around here soon. For now, my lips are sealed! How exciting… :)

I still love you Buenos Aires bloggers!

One final thing - by owning what I believe is one of the more highly-read blogs about Buenos Aires or Argentina (getting an average of around 350 unique visitors a day at present), I feel I have a duty to publicize the many other great blogs in the Argentine blogosphere to this audience. And so I have a couple of new ideas up my sleeve for how to do this in a more creative manner, but again it all depends on time… which seems to be my major enemy these days!

Anyway, one final thanks to all the great Buenos Aires and Argentina bloggers who I have been linking to over the past 16+ weeks - I have really enjoyed reading your posts, and will of course continue to do so for a long time yet! ;)

Thanks for the support Diva and Frank - I think my blog roundups were getting a little ’stale’.

Hope I don’t disappoint with the new content.

Frank, that reminds me, and email is coming your way today to continue our conversation :)

    Hi MJ,

An 11 month exchange sounds really exciting… you’ll be able to really immerse yourself in the culture and language of Buenos Aires in that time, and have a lot of fun.

Of course you can ask me some questions if you like, either here in the comments, or email me:

(I wrote it like that to avoid automated spammers picking my email up).

Thanks for writing me and for the nice comments you made about my blog,

    Alan

Oh, and anonymous, thanks for the suggestion. I’m sure people looking for a BA blog roundup can now look there :)
