You’ve managed to get me mighty nostalgic! When I was a teenager growing up in Buenos Aires I used to go into “El gato negro” just to look around and smell the spices… After all these years in London, I find myself missing old calle Corrientes -that never sleeps-, the clubs I used to go to (Age of Communication, Freedom, Palladium), empanadas, proper ice cream and dulce de leche La Serenisima and the friends I made.

I received spices from my mother in law from there which I have not used due to the fact that there are no recipes or directions on what to do with them! Is there a web site for El Gato Negro? I would love to use them! I have Adobo, pimenton dulce,and pimenton picante. Can you help? I thought the adobo looked like chimichurri. Help!!!
