My husband and I took a private walking tour with Alan in October 2008 and found it to be an invaluable orientation to the city of Buenos Aires, as well as a tremendous history lesson. We did the tour on the day we arrived in BA and it really helped us with our comfort level in a foreign city.

Thanks so much Alan!

Thanks Dalton! I really appreciate your kind words of support... and I hope the tourists listen to you! ;)

You mentioning Robert and Diva reminded me of a quotation from one of my favorite movies (yes, this is a joke about me)...

"We're very lucky in the band that we have two visionaries, David and Nigel. They're like poets, like Shelley and Byron. They're two distinct visionaries, like fire and ice, basically. I feel my role in the band is to be somewhere in the middle of that, kind of like lukewarm water."

- Derek Smalls, Spinal Tap

I'll leave Robert and Diva to fight it out for who gets to be fire and who is ice - I'm just happy to be lukewarm water!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that my tours are far from innovative or different - just solid, quality, fun walking tours. And I hope that a lot of people coming to BA are after that kind of thing :)

Thanks again Dalton - actually, I will email you quite soon to discuss something... sorry it has been so long since I last mailed!

Cheers,

Alan

Hey!

Very interesting indeed!

I can tell from your previous posts that you should be a very interesting and funny guide!
It0s been a long time since the last time I posted here, but I haven read all your posts via GReader.

I had thought of doing this kinda of thing myself a long time ago, but I just chickened out!

I wish you the best of lucks, and do not doubt to contact me should you need any kind of "native" help. =D

Bestest,
S.
