Buenos Aires Videos from Geobeats

Recently I discovered a great new website that has online videos for many different travel destinations around the world, called Geobeats. They have an excellent video section on Buenos Aires, with many videos from around the more famous barrios of Buenos Aires, including spots on hotels, restaurants and museums. All the videos of Buenos Aires are very professionally done and pretty informative, so I recommend checking them out.

There is only so much of an idea you can get about Buenos Aires or Argentina from the text and photos in a blog like mine - so I think online video really is the future for travel websites, which is why I am going to be including some of the Geobeats videos on pages of this blog fairly soon, and maybe even venturing into making some videos of Buenos Aires myself! But for now, I will just post some of my favorite picks from their site here…

My Favorite Videos of Buenos Aires from Geobeats

  • MALBA, in Palermo - the fantastic Museo de Arte Latinamerico en Buenos Aires
  • El Ateneo, in Recoleta - the biggest bookstore in Latin America
  • And my favorite place for a cake (or ten), Confiteria Las Violetas, in Almagro

Just click on the blue links above and the video will open over the top of this page (assuming your internet connection is fast enough!) - pretty wizzy, no? :)

    Hi Dalila,

I wonder which of us will make a video first?

I actually should I guess, because I have some videos ready for a particular post,I just need to work out how I can edit them together on my PC… hopefully I will get time soon :-) Looking forward to seeing one made by you too!

    Hi Alan,
I also have a video ready and I also haven’t worked out how to edit yet, ha ha ha. I’ve been quiet busy, so we’ll be watching your video first, I guess. Then, you can teach me how to edit ;) Saludos!

    Hello!

I just came across your blog on Fuel My Blog (and, of course, have fuelled it!).

Wish I’d seen it earlier - Buenos Aires would have been a great backdrop to Harry McFry Investigates - as it is, he’s off to Madrid instead!

    Thanks for an entertaining blog.
    Kind Regards

Sorry - meant to add, that guy in your masthead is so cool: it looks exactly like Harry!
