I´d been a tour guide myself and – to be honest – I am a little bit captious and hypercritic concerning guided tours, I hate “funny tours” consisting of old jokes and rehashed clichés.

So I really can recommend the walking tour with Alan. Its a MUST if you are in Buenos Aires! Why? Easy to explain: Alan is not only profound, sophisticated and self-deprecating – to make it short: very British, he shows you things you won´t access on your own and he tells you stories you can´t read in your guide book (or history book or whatever).
Book him, you won´t regret it.

We were a group of 17 who booked Alan for 2 seperate tours earlier this month (November), everybody had such a positive experience, can highly recommend this tour, very laid back with a decidedly “British” slant to Argentina’s troubled past.

I went on a walking tour of San Telmo and La Boca with Allen Patrick.

It is the only way to see these two areas at their best. We had a wonderful time and saw everything and even had a drink of tap beer in an ancient bar.

Don’t go to Buenos Aires and not take this trip.
