Thanks for the nice comments. Yep, I’m an English native, living here in BA as an expat.

You definitely notice things more as an ‘outsider’ – I know BA far better than my home town in England where I lived for 20 years…I didn’t care about it so much because it was ‘normal’ to me…whereas BA always seems new and exciting, probably because it is a different culture and country.

Hope you keep reading my blog (about to repky to your other comment now…that’s a good sign, two comments!)

I got here just by chance, and… well, it’s very funny really, very nice!
Maybe your “foreigness” makes you pay more attention yo the city than we natives…
